One reason for the network marketing industry's 80-year success is the division of labour between the companies and their independent distributors. The companies take care of products, logistics, administration and accounting. The networkers out in the field concentrate on winning customers and maintaining them, recruiting further sales partners, training them and looking after them. If both sides live up to their responsibilities, success is unstoppable. Today we want to take care of one side together and find answers to the question: How important is the company?
Security and self-confidence
A strong and well-known partner company gives security to distribution partners. This strengthens those newcomers in the industry whose self-confidence is still very fragile. Some still have doubts whether they are in the right business, whether they themselves are suitable for it and whether they too can become successful.

Until they get their own first results, it helps them in making contacts and their first conversations if they can represent a proven company, lean on it. For network companies that have successfully passed their first five years on the market, there are already some very successful partners to point to and cite as examples of the great opportunities this business offers. This is valuable if you are a newcomer and cannot yet point to your own successes.

It is always easier to promote another person or company than yourself. That's why there are presenters at events or on TV shows; a few decades ago, they were actually called announcers on TV. They announced what would be brought afterwards. That is also why most networkers prefer to talk about their company first rather than themselves - at least until they have recognized their own role and their value for the whole.

It is a living entity with a "soul", carried by values, a lived corporate philosophy that has its origin in the vision of the founders. At the same time, it is a community of like-minded people who carry this vision, this philosophy out into the world. This community is also regularly celebrated at the big company events. This creates or strengthens the feeling among the participants that they are part of something bigger than themselves. This makes them proud and gives them a sense of security.
Identification
No wonder, then, that many successful networkers identify with their company. Asked what they do, they answer, "I do XYZ!", where XYZ stands for the company, they have joined. They don't say, "I'm building my own business and working with company XYZ." Do you see the difference? They and the company they are working with are one.
Fateful connection
The decision to work with a particular MLM company is no trifle. Especially for those who want to make this business a main profession, the choice of network marketing company is an almost fateful decision. Like a marriage, it can have far-reaching consequences. The well-known line from Friedrich Schiller's Song of the Bell, can certainly be applied to partnership with a particular company:
"Therefore test who binds himself eternally,
whether the heart finds its way to the heart.
The delusion is short, the regret is long."

Dependencies
When you join a network marketing company, you enter into a relationship of dependency. He has hardly any influence on the product range, the product quality, the remuneration system and the management. This may change somewhat over time as his success grows and his share of the total turnover increases, but the balance of power remains unequal. There are some examples of companies also parting ways with great and supposedly powerful executives. And as with many a divorce, this sometimes leads to ugly and expensive disputes.
Everyone becomes successful for themselves
Yes, without a doubt, the company is important. But even the best company on earth with the best products in the universe cannot make you successful. Because it is your job to tell the whole world about it. The more often you do that, the more people you confront with the products and the business idea, the bigger your business will become. The more people you help to become successful, the more successful you will become yourself. And I wish you that with all my heart!
